By the Grace of God we are forgiven

Filed under: Food for thought for friends — Alec @ 7:19 am

God forgives us for the stupid things we do, but do we ever forgive ourselves or each other.
Sometimes on the surface things look OK,
but when we dig a little deeper we find some unhappiness and distrust of another person or persons.
Often we find something from our relationship past that we have not forgiven.
We can’t preach community and friendliness if we don’t really practice forgiveness.
Have a friend, they will make a few mistakes along the way.
They will do something’s occasionally that you disagree with and don’t like.
Forgive them and move on,  God would.
We will probably find the issue or what the person said was just a total misunderstanding.
Forgive your friends, talk to them.
Easy to say, hard to do!
You be the first, go talk to your friend, at least say hello and how are you today.

  1. How true cuz… It is unfortunate that more people do not have this insight. The problem does arise occasionally when we are forgiving and the person that we forgive
are repeat offenders – they just keep doing the same dumb, selfish, irritating thing that becomes difficult to forgive.
Hope to see you in August.
    Your cuz,
    Jan
