5.5 months after Prostate Cancer surgery

Filed under: Food for thought for friends — Alec @ 2:18 pm

I am please and happy with the decision I made to have surgery.   I am very happy with the health aspects of the surgery.    I still have some incontinence, which is frustrating, though it is a lot better the last 2 months.    I have found that doing kegel’s first thing in the morning, another set at lunch and a third set in the evening have the best results.    I have also found that a set of 15 seems better than a set of 10, and that I must hold the contractions for at least a full 10 seconds (on your watch).   I also can do Kegel’s while stretching or lifting weights ,  which reduces the incontinence.   The total incontinence is less than 15 grams or about 1/2 and ounce a day,  except if I run hard,  then it is about an ounce.   This is way down from the 60 to 90 grams 6 weeks ago.    So,  I try to do 3 sets of 15 Kegel’s a day holding for a full 10 seconds.   Plus, I do one set of 30 kegel’s holding for 1 second.      Like weight lifting,  trying different types of muscle exercise.

I am still more tired than I think I should be,  so I have been talking to an endocrinologist about my low thyroid and low testosterone.   We will see.

“ALL corp taxes are passed through to individuals. To shareholders thru lower ROI, employees thru lower wages, or customers thru higher prices ” from economist Walter E. Williams.   My comment… Or if they can’t pass through higher prices, they either move to lower tax country or go out of business. So, are you sure you want to raise corp taxes?
