13 weeks
I learned something new the last few weeks, I was doing my Kegel’s partially wrong. I was holding them to the count of ten, not for 10 seconds. My incontinence has improved as a result, though still using 1 to 2 pads a day. Walked 3 times today, 3 miles in morning, 2 miles at lunch and 2 miles at dinner, all at about 20 minute mile pace.

3 months after Prostate Cancer Surgery
I feel better and better, but still more tired than I think I should be. This may be my low testosterone. My testosterone has been below the minimum level for a few years, so I started taking it 6 months ago. With the testosterone, I felt the best I had felt in years. Though, it may have sped up my prostate cancer development. So, I stopped taking it 4 months ago. My Thyroid has always been a little slow, so the combination now of low Thyroid and low testosterone and post surgery is leaving me a little lethargic.
But, I have not pain associated with the surgery, even when I laugh and or sneeze. I did sop exercising the last month everything except walking. So, I have had no blood in my urine for over 3 weeks. I will continue to walk, maybe a little easy bike riding next week or two. I do not plan to do any weight lifting until March.
I still have that darn incontinence issue. It seems to get better , then rushes back. I know now that it incontinence is very food and suppliment related. ie, I can’t drink tea, even decaf tea. I have been doing my Kegel’s, but I slowed down after the blood in urine issue. I continued to do them, but only one set a day of 30 for 5 seconds on and 5 seconds off. I had been doing two sets of 25 at 10 seconds on and 10 seconds off. I am gradually going back to the two sets of 10 seconds on and off.
I go through 2 or 3 incontinence pads a day. I have found some more comfortable incontinence pads, but they are not as absorbent. I still do not like the little clamps, though sometimes I use Acticuf pads.
So, get your PSA tested after 40 for a baseline. Get a digital exam. My cancer was found with a digital exam and then rising PSA. You should not have sex for at least 24 hours before your PSA exam, it makes it less acurate.
Bicycling may impact your PSA, but it does not cause Prostate Cancer. However, the wrong type of seat could cause numbness and or impotency. Regarding impotency, I have tried Cialis, vacuum pumps, Muse, etc. some work a little, but none work well. I have not tried Viagra. Once the incontinence is under control, I will worry about the impotency.
